South Area - Dr. Abbu was nominated for being proactive in educating the staff on H1N1. He volunteered his time to set up information sessions and participated in local planning. His intense motivation to create public awareness has rubbed off on his children who have been seen participating at education sessions.
crha2.jpg Mid Central - Roseline Prejet was nominated for being a strong patient advocate. She consistently takes steps to reduce risk and errors in the healthcare system. She is not afraid to jump in and teach staff a better way of doing something with the focus on safety of the client and staff. She is consistently educating herself on various techniques and improvements for pt safety. Roseline is passionate about her work and in striving for integrity, caring and excellence.
roseline-patient-safety-award.JPG North Area - Sharon Kohut is a housekeeper who has been with our organization for over 20 years. She knows where every piece of equipment is located in the building and is often the first to pick up on a worn arm rest on a w/c or a loose brake. Sharon has prevented potential fires by reporting and removing bedding that has been placed too close to the electric heaters. Sharon is the first to volunteer for any task and consistently goes the extra mile. Her keen observation skills, work ethic and integrity have contributed greatly to the safety of the clients and staff.
