The MIPS Patient Advisory Committee (MPAC) held a meeting on June 12, 2008 to discuss is Patient Advocacy plans and support documents. That evening MPAC made a presentation at the MIPS Annual General Meeting on the Patient Advocacy in the Community Project. The project goals are to:
- provide a patient safety voice to the public and
- collaborate on patient safety projects in two regional health authorities.
MPAC hopes to act as a catalyst in Manitoba to promote patient safety via networking with communities and educating the public. To view the presentation, click here.
