On November 4, 2009, resource materials were released at a Canadian Patient Safety Week media event. The event was co-sponsored by the Manitoba Institute for Patient Safety, the Regional Health Authorities of Manitoba, Manitoba Health and Healthy Living, and the Canadian Patient Safety Institute.

The Manitoba Institute for Patient Safety will provide copies free-of-charge to Manitoba regional health authorities and healthcare organizations upon receipt of the completed on-line order form.
