Ms Helga Bryant

Ms. Helga Bryant, RN, BScN, MScA, is the principal of Helga Bryant and Associates and on faculty with Brandon University. Ms. Bryant has over 36 years of experience in nursing, including clinical practice, nursing leadership, education, and healthcare administration.  Recent positions include Executive Director, College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba, Vice-President and Chief Nursing Officer, Health Sciences Centre, Course leader, University of Manitoba Faculty of Nursing, and Vice-President of Acute Care and Diagnostic Services, Brandon Regional Health Authority. Ms. Bryant has served on boards and committees for a variety of healthcare and leadership related organizations.  She has received numerous professional awards, and is the recipient of a YMCA Woman of Distinction award.  

In 1999, Ms. Bryant was appointed to a three person Committee to review Judge Sinclair’s Inquest Report into the pediatric cardiac surgery deaths at Health Sciences Centre. Ms. Bryant was nominated by the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba.
