Dr. Rodney Onotera

Dr. Rodney Onotera, B.S. M.D. FRCS(C), FACS is a general surgeon. He has been a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba Council since 2002. He has been a member of several College Committees including his current position as Chair of the Central Standards Committee. He is also a Practice Auditor with the College. Dr. Onotera chairs the Adverse Patient Occurrence Committee at Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg and has served on their Board of Trustees. He is the General Medical Advisor for the Worker’s Compensation Board, and a clinical instructor for the College of Family Physicians of Manitoba. Dr. Onotera was nominated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba and was elected to the board in June 2011 for a three year term.
