Collaborative Learning for Patient Safety Monday

Invitations were sent to Deans/Directors in the healthcare professions in Manitoba, asking them to identify 5 individuals who approve or lead curriculum adjustments, and/or are responsible for faculty education/development and/or are healthcare educators. Eighty eight people registered for the event.

The day included tours of the Clinical Learning and Simulation Facility, and an opportunity to meet Dr. Ruby Grymonpre, a key individuals addressing IPE in Manitoba and Dr. Laurel Taylor from the Canadian Patient Safety Institute, addressing Safety Competencies. Continuing Education Credits were available for physicians and pharmacists and others.
