Nursing Actions to Improve Patient Safety
Safer Healthcare Now is the largest healthcare improvement effort in Canadian history. It provides evidence based support for front line nurses to improve patient safety. This session will describe tangible actions that nurses can take to promote patient safety in their work place. It will also outline resources and tools that nurses can access from the Manitoba Institute for Patient Safety to enhance their practice.
Presented by Laurie A. Thompson RN MN, Executive Director of the Manitoba Institute for Patient Safety and Tanis Rollefstad RN BN, Safety and Improvement Advisor for the Western Node of the Safer Healthcare Now! Campaign
